I know in my writing, the main thing I get criticism for is that I kind of rush through things. I down the broad brushstrokes but not the detail. I think I am like that with deadlines too (defiinitely with exams) - I'll get what needs to be done, done then depending on how much time I have, add in the fancy stuff :) Interesting. Everyone deals with deadlines so differently but it's easy to get wrapped up in your own that you fail to look at how others are faring. Personally, I need to have deadlines. If I don't have deadlines, work often doesn't get done. I don't like to do things last minute, but I do need the pressure of a deadline to make me actually get the work done.
