How to be tougher
In this episode, I talk about how to be tougher …except it’s not what you think. I do think that people need to be tougher, but in a very particular and specific way, one that enhances who they are rather than breaking them down. Learning how to be tougher involves integrity and accountability (and, in the next podcast episode that I share, don’t worry–I’ll be talking about how to be…softer).
How to be tougher show notes:
- “Tougher” isn’t about being hard on yourself.
- Integrity is: when your words and actions match, and they are in alignment with your values, commitments, beliefs, and life vision (Matthew Marzel)
- The “butts in seats” method for following through and doing what you say you’re going to do.
- Why we need to bypass excuses without making ourselves into “bad people” because we have them.
