Watching the watcher
We’ve all been there, before: in a place of negative mental rumination where we’re tossed around by our thoughts. When we start watching the watcher, we engage with a presence-based practice where we step outside of our frantic thinking and into feeling more grounded in ourselves. Here’s how.
A lot of work, a lot of fear
Sometimes we talk ourselves out of our dreams with this thought: It’s a lot of work. Really? It’s a lot of fear. Fear tells us that something will be a lot of work—too much work—as a tactic to get us to back down. You can choose something different.
Consciously Dropping Overwhelm
Consciously dropping overwhelm is a choice that we can make when we step out of the “Story” that overwhelm carries with it. This isn’t bypassing our lived experience. It’s a conscious choice to make, moment to moment.
