We just don't know (and that's okay)
I spent 15 seconds on an elevator, and the people who shared that elevator with me made up an entire story about who I am (at least, that was how it seemed—I just don’t know). This got me to thinking about how often we can be so sure that we “know” when in truth? We just don’t know (and that’s okay).
The divine wisdom of not needing to be right
There's wisdom in not needing to be right . In fact, it’s a huge relief—a weighty pressure that gets released when we realize that we don’t need to be right, don’t need to find and know and share all of the answers. If you want to change the world, stop making people wrong.
The fear of caring and the courage to give a damn
Why don’t people do more about the world’s problems? Is it because people just don’t care? Because they’re narcissistic and apathetic? I don’t think that that’s the case. I actually think that it’s about the fear of caring and the courage to give a damn. We fear caring too much because it’s heartbreaking to realize how little control we can exert. And still, we need to have the courage to give a damn.
