It seems to me that depression is, at its essence, a feeling of being pressed down, unable to get up, unable to effect change in one's life. The sad place...what does your sadness tell you?

You matter. You are courageous, even when you don't know it. And when you least expect it, trust me--you give gifts to others, simply by being yourself. Just be yourself.
