An interview with Brenè Brown
In this interview with Brene Brown, we talk about ordinary courage that builds the foundation for an extraordinary life.
Take action (creating safety is a delusion)
Safety is a delusion. There is no "safety." At any given moment--whether you take action in the name of your dreams, or not--things can go wrong. Spending a lot of time creating safety is not a road paved with guarantees. In fact, it just wastes time.
Sitting with my stuff vs. wallowing
So what's the difference between sitting with your stuff as a presence practice, and wallowing? The difference is in the Story. Stories are those repeated, habitual assumptions that we make about life, to the point where those Stories might go unquestioned.
